Track Collar Structure
Feb 26, 2021
The satellite positioning collar developed by satellite navigation technology is mainly composed of two parts:
One is the navigation satellite receiver, which can obtain the position, speed and time information of the animal in real time;
The second is the radio transmitter, which can send the data from the navigation satellite receiver and animal data collector to the ground receiving equipment.
Some animal trackers are also integrated with animal data collectors to collect animal-related data that zoologists care about, including the animal's heartbeat, body temperature, and the temperature and humidity of the animal's environment.
Satellite positioning collars generally have the function of timing and automatic shedding, which will not affect the growth and development of wild animals, and is conducive to the simultaneous collection of data by researchers.
