Application of Tracking Collars

Mar 18, 2021

The experimental accelerator embedded in the collar is able to detect abnormal behavior such as "quick movement" - a sudden, panicked flight that could mean being attacked.

Unlike traditional collars, which mostly send geographic coordinates at long intervals or store them in one place for later retrieval, the new device's real-time feedback allows patrollers to respond quickly. In several cases, they arrested poachers as a result.
