The ideal dog breeds

Obviously, you need a dog breed capable of hunting big game . However, there are generalist, versatile animals that can adapt to different types of hunting, we can name the springer, the munsterlander, the Breton spaniel... But beware, a "generalist" dog will never be as good as a specialized hunting dog. 

Bloodhounds will make good companions during hunts. After hitting your target from your beaten watchtower, a dog capable of following the flow of blood is very effective in finding game, including wild boar.

The fox terrier, a very fiery and stubborn dog when hunting wild boar. He is ideal for attacking the boar at the shed, but beware, his tenacity and his courage sometimes earn him serious injuries. 

The Jagd-terrier is also a breed of small hunting dog, but it is a fighting breed. This combativeness makes him attack the boar without feeling fear.

Hounds, group 6, generally make good comrades for wild boar hunting. They sniff, track and run after game, they are very tough, and can hunt for hours.
